A little premature don't you think? I really don't see anything special about the new Tundra. It copied Ford's nice interior and Dodge's big snout. It's a year out, so I'm sure Ford and others will respond.

The last of the American Big 3 is GM. Toyota will out sale GM this year or 2007.

I looks more like a scaled-up Tacoma, kind of what I expected. The Titan has done nothing significant to F-series sales, and the Tundra has not in the past and probably will not in the forseable future. I still disagree that there is a US Big 3 anymore, it is down to 2. If GM goes bankrupt, who knows?

Wow! Can't wait to hear how that 5.7L V-8 gets up and goes... Sweet truck. Not as nice looking (to my eyes) as the F150 though.

10K to capacity + 6 spd auto = nice
And it's a 1/2 ton.

Look forward to the 3/4-ton.

The Ford and Chevy are also optimistic on towing.

I don't like it. It looks funny in those pictures trying to look like an American work truck next to a stack of hay or pulling a horse trailer. I doubt this will take sales away from Ford, Dodge, or GM. I think American truck owners by large are traditionalists and like their trucks to look distinctly American. This truck looks distinctly Japanese. It'll be interesting to see the 3/4 ton though.

Will It pull a 5th wheel, tee hee! Not sure about the towing either, prolly long term towing would kill it. But remains to be seen.........

That thing is ugly as hell I don't think GM and Ford have anything to worry about.

It may not be the greatest looking exterior, but I do like the interior shots I've seen of it. I would buy it before I bought a Chevy or Dodge though, but thats just me.
