looks nice - do those backup lights make a big difference? i'm not too happy with the stock back-up illumination myself.

Yes the backup lights make a difference there are no such things as street lights around here, I also installed a backup sonar. Greenscobie86 which headlight conversion is that I agree it looks good.

The ford Lightning headlight coversion. do a search on ebay for headlamps, im sure you will find them. If you want you can also get clear corner lenses, which is what i did. Or you can go another route and get the harley davidson headlamp conversion, which is basically a Lightning headlamp with an amber reflector at the bottom. Good luck!

charlie-

my son lives in horseheads! small world....

nice truck! how did you "float" the taurus grill bar in the lower front grill opening?

on my '97 eb, i unclipped the inverted c shaped grill insert and installed an f150 xxx shaped grill insert (after body painting it of course).

i also body painted my d pillars. your pics seem to show yours have begun to "turn". a light scuffing and then rattle can painting maroon would really set your truck off!

Hi Lakeside, I am planning to do more paint work in spring including the door pillars, also need to add more clear coat to dragons I airbrushed on tailgate. The Taurus bar is held in place with an 'egg crate' ceiling tile panel that was shaped with a heatgun to the curve needed and then painted black. It is clipped into the opening to give the floating appearance.

Hi Lakeside, The lower grill section is mounted by taking two blocks of 1/2" corian which I shaped to the inside curve of the bumber. I the used West System epoxy to insure the blocks would stay in place. The ceiling tile panel is screwed to the blocks. I am on my third winter with the modification and it has held up fine. I also installed a network of fiber optics and LED's to the egg crate which gives an illiusion of fireworks in the grille, I will try to get a photo of it turned on.

Nice looking rides-----Question for you guys who changes you headlights---Do you think your lights are brighter with the clear lens or with the original lens that came with the truck???---My wife has clear in her Mountaineer and I've got the original lenses in my 2002 Expy, I do think her's are brighter-------Thinking of buying an after market set from Ebay-------Just wanted some input------Thanks------Ray
