Alright, just to keep everyone in the loop. . .There's an April 15th mud bog at the VMSP, Sailor Creek Park west of Richmond, and of course Pochahontas State Park (Location of the failed attempted 2nd meet ).
Calling the mud bog and checking more into Pocho Park and Sailor Park. Based on location and price, we might be looking at a second try with Pocho
Dun-Dun-DUHHHHH!!!!
(Someone cue the evil Vincent Price laughter)
P.S. Still looking for spare time donations

Ok. . .park offices are closed on the weekends, and by 4pm on weekdays. . I get home at 5:30pm. . . Anyways, I will get ahold of them even if I have to telegraph it in!
I'm going to make a reservation for one of the picnic shelters at Pocahontas State Park. It's a half day reservation which will make sure we have somewhere to eat lunch. I know its a long shot the park will be full, but I'd rather put out a few bucks and make sure we have some where to go then show up and everythings full, and knowing my luck thats how it would happen
SO! I will make the reservation for Saturday, April 22nd. The rental is for 8am-2pm. We won't have to leave the shelter if no one else has a reservation, and if we did, there is a whole park to enjoy I will spamm ya'lls PM boxes again when everything is in stone.
. . .And were the fruit is everyone?

not just yet! %$#@!!&*^% said we aint allowed to grill before 4pm until after april 30th!!!! freakin unbeleivable
-I need to check to see about the first saturday in May if we want to grill
-we can have a late meet and do a late lunch/dinner thing
-or do the late morning/luch meet and have a cold lunch. Samiches and macaroni salad and pickles. . .and. . .olives?
-one last thing, I wonder what kind of restraunts are up there. . .
On some better news, the NC chapter thinks its a great idea to have a big party

You know what?!?! Fudge it! We can have a luncheon instead of a bar-b-que Difference between a BBQ and luncheon? Luncheons have sandwiches of various sorts with the same dishes and sides as a BBQ (ever have an office party?). So thats what were going to have, a luncheon. We will have plenty of time to figure out who's bringing what, and if anyone has a selfcontained camping grill and can bring it, then we can do dogs and burgs' if you want
Be sure to bring your fishing poles as well
I foresee a slack day tommorrow at work, so I should have a nice long lunch to make a reservation. . .finally, some progress!!
