Well, at least you got a 500 to cruise around in i guess... Yeah, those Excursions sure do have a lot of room... How are the add-ons coming?
I'm like a "nervous" dad waiting to hear...but, "a watched pot" never boils, so I haven't bugged the shop. They were down a mechanic when I dropped it off on Monday...know they didn't start it till Tuesday; so I guess I'll give them a call tomorrow afternoon to see if I'll have it for the weekend.
As to the 500; it's actually a really nice car...real nice and tight, nice road feel to it; but...It's too small for me. Guess we'll have to look at the Chrysler 300 again when my wife gets her new car at the end of the year.
Shame...I've been Ford truck all of my life, we have a 93 Aerostart with 147,000 on it and (knock on wood) NEVER a problem...But, it's time to retire it and Ford just doesn't have what we need in a sedan.

Here's a video I found that showcases the 07 Expedition: http://www.fordvehicles.com/futureve...n/revealvideo/ The interior looks real comfortable, even the optional third row. All-black exterior is definately the way to go!
It really is a step up and in the right direction. Those pictures don't do it any justice. Just wait until you can see it and touch it. It's a big difference!
Id have to go measure the garage and adjust the "tennis ball" for the wife...not much room for error with the added length and a "typical garage".
Nice truck though
