Question Power Programmers?!?

I have a 99 with a 4.6, 4x4, and i am looking at getting a programmer for better shifts and because i am getting 33" swampers in the spring and i figure that would help it to not tear the transmission up so much. Basically i just want to know if anyone knows anything about them like whats the best brand, price, and if anyone has had any problems that have possibly came from having a programmer. I dont feel comfortable with ebay products and hypertech is the main brand that i have seen around, any advice would be great!

My 01 Runs much better and shifts much firmer with my Diablosport Predator. I also prefer the Predator because when updates/upgrades are available, they are easily downloaded from the net and installed by your PC into the tuner unlike the others that must go back to either a dealer or manufacturer. I run my on the 87 octane setting and the throttle response is much better than stock.
