Louvered Hood Rain Deflector

Louvered Hood Rain Deflector
Heard today from Jomes about a guy he met today with a louvered hood on a 53 F100 which has a plastic rain deflector piece on the inside (where else). It was not a home made product.
Anyone else know of them? I haven't seen any myself.
I have a nice louvered hood I would like to put back on the panel which could use this.
Alternate rain deflector on louvered hood:
I did my own style rain deflector on the hood, which has been run on my truck for a while a few years ago. I had this bright idea to buy a length of magnetic sign material, cut 2 mirror image sections and stuck them inside the hood under the louvered areas. Works great with no problems, plus you can easily remove them for cleaning or shows.
Actually this might be better than the plastic one mentioned above.

Note: We use magnetics for numbers and other stickers on our race cars, and I have a vinyl cutter with which I make magnetics for others. Magnetic sheet will rust if moisture even dew gets in between, permanently damaging the paint if left on for a period of time. It's ok for temp use, but remove and dry or let dry off the vehicle after getting wet. If moisture gets underneath and the sun hits it it will turn any wax white underneath in a matter of an hour or so. We have to be very careful of that when we race in the rain and the sun comes out before we remove the mags.

When we were using them with the hood on the truck we wiped em down every week or so. I had a set of my business..."Tile Visions"... signs on my 97 Dakota for a long time without removing them with no rust, but I found it was best to do the weekly cleaning with them also; possibly the vertical application gravatation kept anything really bad from happening.
Thanks for the tip.
