Made in USA?
OK I know my truck was assembled in Kentucky. But where were the parts made? You know wheels, axles (I'm guessing Dana and Ford make these in the US), sheetmetal, engine (Where is Windsor?), tranny (I assume it's a zf, towing package and all that), seats, fuel tanks. I expect some of the truck (electronics) to be made overseas but the rest I thought was made in the USA. A preacher has just shaken my faith.

Your 351 was made in Windsor Ontario Canada. You would be surprised where some of your plastic part's are made. Most are from overseas, like Japan. There is a Window plant in Tulsa Oklahoma, and it's possible your window's are from there. I know at one time Whitiker(sp?)made a lot of part's for Ford, although I don't know if they still do.
BTW, my F-150(both) were made at the Norfolk plant.

In todays manufacturing world , parts can be made anywhere from Canada to Brazil . Ford now owns a lot of different lines & the mix & match is amazing . Jaguar & Land Rover , Volvo , Mazda , Aston Martin, Cover the Euro & Asian stuff . For instance a Lincoln LS is basically a Jag , cant recall what model ? Id say in the next 5 to 10 yrs you will find all those lines are more & more Ford like than not ...Pretty good for a guy that designed a car in his garage a 100 yrs ago isnt it ?
