power steering problem

I just put a rebuilt power steering box in my '78 f150 and when running it turns all the way to the drivers side by itself. Did I put the idler arm in the wrong position??????? need help quick!

power steering problem

I ran into same problem with a 73 olds cutlass s , whe I changed the pump I did not flush the system and let trash into the gear and the spool valve ( think thats right) caused the same problem , flushed the system a couple of times and fixed the problem.
