that's absolutely right. I have been bit by the turbo bug!! my 2.4 liter (that's actually a 2388 cc) has some serious potential I will soon be exploiting. however there is no way that little 2.4 will be able to pust 3 tons of truck AND still be able to perform in a reasonable fasion. so the old addage still holds...there is NO replacement for DISPLACEMENT!!

if I turbo my 2.4 (which is roughly 1/3 the size of my FE) I have the potential of making 250HP from a base of roughly 90HP. now if I did the same thing (scaled up to accomidate displacement of course) on my FE that is roughly 290HP I would net an approximate 600HP. and yet again, has anyone found that replacement for displacement.....I know I haven't.

Haha, I know a guy that had a 5.0 in his F150 and he was pushing almost 600 hp. He had it supercharged. But he also got about .75 miles per gallon.

LOL i get like 10 miles to the gallon...thats WORST than my 68.....

I'm lucky if I get 10 gallons to the mile in my old beater. haha, j/k it gets about 7mpg
