Cooling for thought
Over the weekend I finally changed the coolant in my truck after it froze previously and also replaced the water pump with a pulley that had much play from the bearing. I put the stock 195*F thermostat in place of the 180*F I had in there for the last 80k. First thing I noticed was that the needle points in between the "r" and "m" in normal vs. the old 180 that always sat just above the "n". Just in case anyone was wondering what the differnce would be, I think I'm sticking with all factory Ford settings now for the most part. Hopefully this might change fuel mileage slightly.
