A/C recirculation

Everytime I turn on the A/C, I have to press the recirculation button to get Max A/C, is there anyway to default this to being on?

Use MAX A/C - should be the last slot to the left on the selector switch - at least that is the way it is on mine...

I haven't found a way either, I always like the recirculate, seems like it gets colder quicker. I will watch this to see what folks say.

Thanks for posting the question

When you turn the AC **** to Max AC, it automatically engages the recirculation.

However, if you turn the **** to AC, you must manually engage the recirculation button.

aaaa-HA!!!
A Lariat owner...good man.

As far as I can tell using the recirc button is the only way...IF you are manually controlling temp and fan.
Put the sucker on "AUTO" and it will recirculate just fine.

Keep in mind that the general recommendation on using recirculation on any vehicle it to use it for drying out the air in very humid conditions. If you leave it on recirc all the time you are not getting fresh air from the outside. You don't want to keep re-breathing the same old stale air do you?

Also, typically passengers in the back seats (particularly on vehicles that lack dedicated rear a/c vents such as the flow-through console) will get less cooled airflow back there since the recirc tends to pull air back under the front dash as opposed to letting it flow from front to back (where it exits to the outside of the cab).
