Trans Swap Options?

My manual trans is sloppy... I am starting not to like the thing. What options will bolt right into its place? I dont know if I want to go all out on a T-56 or what. Just know that this thing has to go. My truck only has 40k on it and this transmission is already loose, or feels like it. Anything from a Mustang? I bet they got the same tranny.... Oh well... Let me know what you guys think. Maybe this one has a fault or something...

Laters,

The Trucks use a Mazda tranny and they aren't very strong. I don't know if a T-5 would be a direct bolt up or not.

Would be nice to get a stang tranny in there, I would be curious if they would fit too. Also, a little different and I dont mean to steal the thread, but could a guy put a standard tranny, in place of an auto?

You mean to tell me no one knows? I know a mustang trans will bolt up but will it fit the crossmember? Will the tailshaft work? Is it longer/Shorter, same? My transmission is slowly not letting me shift into gears. This isnt a matter of "will he do it" its a matter of WHEN! I have been eyeballing the TKO trans and the T56. I would just rather have a factory transmission in there. Come on guys let me know, PLEASE...
