Question Offy Tri-power Intake Problem

Hi
I Am Having A Problem Finding What Was Used For The Four Middle Hold Down Pieces For A Vintage Offenhouser Tri Power Intake. The Factory Ones Are Too Short. The Overall Length Needs To Be About 2.25 To 2.50 Inches. Will The Ones From A Chevy Stove Bolt 6 Fit? I Have Not Found One To Measure, But Don't Want To Search For Something That Will Not Fit. There Were Probably Ones Included With This Unit When New, But Are Long Gone.

Thanks,

An excellent substitute is to get an Edelbrock intake. They flow better also; at least the 573 and late 553's.

As I remember, the hold downs I used to have, that came with my original 56 intake and motor, were longer than the later versions. To fit the 57 4 barrel manifold they had to be angled due to being too long.
It may be just as easy to make some hold downs as to run the parts down.
