This is on my 99 Explorer Sport that i just purchased. The alarm system in it right now was put in by the dealer which I know because of the books that came with my truck. It is not in valet mode because I checked. The horn does not beep when you lock/unlock, or hold down the emergency button. When you hold down the emergency button the lights flash like they should but there is no siren. Also, when the alarm is set and you bump the truck nothing happens, it doesn't set it off. Is it possible that it is dissabled somehow? Is there a switch to enable it? I have read the manuals and everything is working the way it says except the honk. Thanks in advance.
