Aftermarket MAF - worth it?

Hi All - I have a 98 4.6l Expedition with a failed MAF. Is an aftermarket unit worth considering for gains?

You won't gain anything unless it is supercharged or turbocharged. The stock one flows plenty for a stock engine.
