I own a 2004 F-150 Heritage....I have 24,000 miles(half highway, half around town) .....Can anyone give me an idea when I should be considering changing the brake pads?...Thanks

 

That depends on your driving and brking habits mostly, other than that check them at 30,000 and agian at 50,000 miles. 50,000 is normal for the brakes to be replaced, but again it really depends on you braking habits.

Just rotated my tires. 47000 miles on the (2000 F150) truck, have been pulling a 5th wheel the last 2 years and the brakes still look like the is some life left in them.
