the oldone is clogged? Can you blow through it. sounds like a easy cure, way to go.

no nothing is clogged i dont know because i tried 3 different pcv valves and dont know which one to use because it runs differently with all of them, even though they are all the same ones. I am starting to get irritated with this.

did you say it ran ok with the newest one? If so go with that one.

its runs ok with the newest one, but the idle still dropped lower when i put it in. I dont know what else to try.

did you try the IAC, maybe it is not working properly. See if there is a code in the cpu for it. the light does not have to be on to have a code.

how do i clean the iac, ive never had to do it before.

yes if you remove it it can be cleaned, if it fixes the problem, then guarrented it will have to be replaced, most of the time the cleaning is only a temp fix.

so far it seems like its running better, thanks for all you help. I would never had thought about cleaning that.
