Thinking of Buying

I am looking at purchasing a 2004 Lariat F150 supercab 4x4. It only has 23k+ on the odometer. After taxes, and spray in liner I am looking at $23,500. I was wondering if this is a good deal or if I should keep looking. I know the truck books out at around $27k, but I know the low prices on new models is affecting this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check any out on the lot new with the family pricing plan? I could have sworn some extended cabs going for a bit less. But new and longer remaining warranty to boot.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. KBB has your truck listed for just under $27K for retail. Try and get them to throw in the bedliner. If this truck has been on their lot for awhile they might just do it. Good Luck!

I think that a 04 can be had for 6K under book. Remind them that the new pricing slays the resale on used trucks. They will want to move that truck before the end of the month and Ford has extended the low pricing through Oct 3rd.

Offer 21K, all they can do is say no.

I already offered 21 and they wouldn't do it. The lot manager is actually a friend of the family and showed me the paperwork where they took the truck in for $300 dollars over what they are selling it to me for. I just wanted to make sure they didn't were still in a good price range. I am going to try to get them to throw in the bedliner.
