351W swap TV rod question

I currently have an '84 F-150 with a 302 and an AOD, but the 302 is almost at the end of its life. So, I have a 351W out getting machined and I am building up. I was wondering if I can use the same TV rod from the 302 setup. I know the deck height is taller, but there is adjustment at the tranny end of the rod.

Well, I think there is enough room to do it. I haven't done it personally, but I once put an AOD out of a Merc wagon with a 302 behind a 351C in a Ranchero. I had to bend the rod a little, but I got it to fit. If not, then you could look for one from a wrecking yard off a 351W to compare.
