Fog lights with high beams

What needs to be jumped on the light switch to enable the fog lights to remain on with the high beams?

If you've got a photo, that'd be cool as well.

BTW: I've done a search and could not locate a how-to.

There is most likely a relay that taps off of the low beam source and breaks the circuit when the highs are on. Look on this site for a link to wire diagram for the 2004 F150.

Thanks.

I did the mod on my '05 and my neighbor took an interest in what I was doing so we figured out how to mod his 2001 F-150. Now we both have better Bambi vision.

Care to post the "how to" on this? I think that's what the original poster was asking.

i use relays to provide full power to fog lights when key is on, and also to turn them off when turn signal is on(55 watt turn signals), also have driving lights that come on with high beams. high beams and drivers also come on with a long enough signal from horns(electric and air). don't forget diode so horn is quiet when lights come on.

I had a ford ranger Edge 2001 and did the same mod but didn't have to run a ground wire, simply bent the pin back and plugged it in and there ya had it...both brights and driving lights at the same time. Of course the Ranger had it made cause you could run the driving lights without the lights being on. Maybe that was the diff??? Anyone try it without a ground??

running relays to power the lights provides better power than the stock systems used to. power right off the battery will give more light and bulbs will last longer, also switches will last longer.
