its time- copper gaskets

Hey guys,
I've done my internet and forum browsing homework to aid my search for what copper gaskets to get ahold of. I intend to rid myself of my ticking noise. I've only turned up some on summitracing.com - #FOG7006C @ $33.95 a pair. Are these any count? I have heard of self adjusting copper gaskets but haven't seen an ad. Also, having put up with this ticking noise for so long, what compounds should I apply while I am at it? Again, I am going for no more ticking sounds!!! Thankx bill

Is the ticking sound for sure from your exhaust manifold? Could it just be the injectors firing? Or a rocker/valve noise?
