helluva starter

well it finally happened; my slave cylinder took a big dump mon eve. as i was turning onto my street i geared down to 2nd to make the turn and bam the clutch pedal kicks me back and i lose my clutch (plus all the hydraulic fluid in the clutch master cylinder). i stop like an idiot about a block and a half away from my house; how do i get it home? i simply push the clutch in to kill the clutch safety switch and give the sucker a lil gas, gets my truck movin, and then have to shift, sans clutch into 2nd to get her home. i have had to move it two times since then to get it in the driveway where i need it to work on it using the same method. maybe im just easily impressed but i have to say that that is one strong starter to get a truck of that size going. i have an '01 f150 r/c l/b w/ 4.2 and 5 spd w/ a tool box full of crap. just wanted to see if you guys might enjoy this.

I remember moving my first car around like that when it would either run out of gas or vaporlock. It was a 62 Ford Gallaxy with a 58 352ci police interceptor motor. Gas guage was broke and the motor would vaporlock. Moved it using the starter a lot. Run it too long one time and melted the solder off one of the brush wires. Good tims stranded in bad neighborhoods or the highway.
