I am very close to buying a 2003 F150 FX4 w. the 5.4 engine in it. It is in perfect condition, does not look like it has been worked at all. It has 35k miles, price on it is going to be 19,000, and will cost me 7k out the door after trade in of my mustang and escort. My questions are does this seem like a good price for a truck like this? Also, is this an overall good truck? I dont know anybody with one and don't have a ton of expierence with F150's

Sound like good price. Don't know everything you have though, go to kbb.com and put in all your info. Great trucks, you picked the right year truck. The 03 was the last of that body style, which began production in 97. So got all the kinks outta the truck by then. 04 started the latest body style. These trucks take a beating and keep going, i've got a 97 4x4 reg cab with 110k, stilling goin real strong. Use hard offroad and onroad, never dissapointed. Had to make a few unexpected repairs, mostly due to offroad excursions.
