More flareside models?

If its true what Im reading about with the supercrew getting a 6.5 ft bed for 06', has anybody heard about if its a possibility that maybe the supercrew could get a flareside for 06'? Im having the hardest time deciding between the FX4 flareside and the Lariat supercrew. I like the rear leg room of the supercrew, but like the flareside bed on an FX4. It would be great if I could have both. Thanks for any help

Yes its true. You heard right. Dont no when exactly for sure. But for the 06 model year. Check out the new ford lincoln mercury buyers forum. A salesman over there posts regularly on FTE and he said its true. The SCs will have a 6.5 ft.bed.

Thanks 150, so do you think that the Lariat crew or the FX4 crew are going to be available with the flareside?

As much as I love the Flareside (I have an 04 reg cab flare), I have to think that a Screw flareside would look a bit goofy and out of proportion. Thats just my opinion though, it could end up looking pretty sweet.

Ive tried to visualize what the crew would look with the flareside, it would definitely be a large truck, if they do offer it it will be interesting to see how it looks proportionately, I may not like it, I guess I'll just have to wait and see
