First of all, welcome and best of luck with the project. You will need to swap to a solid front unless you feel like hunting down a 3/4 ton Twin Traction Beam Dana 50 for the front. Dana 60 rear is most common. I have not personally done this mod but some here have. The spring perches on the axles are the primary concern when getting everything lined up. 3/4 and 1 ton F-series had leaf springs rather than the coils that the 1/2 ton and Bronco had so thats a consideration as well. Unfortunately the extent of my knowledge wains here. Others will most assuredly respond though.

Yes, the Dana 60 front is solid. The only TTB front axles were the 1/2 ton Dana 44 and the rare, but available, 3/4 ton Dana 50.

I put the 50 in mine due to no 60s being available. I thought it was an easy swap. The rivits are a pain to grind and you have to be very careful lining up the new pivot brackets. With the stock 90 F250 parts I clear 35s with 4" clearance in the wheelwells.
