Just bought 99 F-150xl from nephew. Truck has 155,000 miles on it. I have been having several problems with it:

1)..driving down the road all of a sudden speedo and all gauges quit working then suddenly start again,havent noticed any change in engine when this occurs

2)..have at least two warning lites on at all times and sometimes all of them, CEL lite always on: Airbag/ Seatbelt? lite sometimes: Door ajar lite sometimes: ABS lite sometimes

3)..Occasionally engine will just start to rev higher /sometimes lower and almost die and then return back to normal. Occurs when hot or cold

Any ideas??

 

take it to autozone and get the codes read.
For the door ajar light, spray some WD40 in the door latch mechanism and open/close doors a few times, that usually takes care of it.
