I had some city slickers that kept tresspassing on my and my neighbors property. They even cussed us out when asked to leave. I put on two pair of gloves, inner ones were chemical proof. I picked a nice bouquet of poison ivy and rubbed it on everything I thought they would touch on their parked SUV. Being polite I cleaned up the visible reminents. Strange thing is we never saw them again. Sometimes nature needs a little help

Aftrmidnite; Very inovative , I like the way you think . Let nature take it's course Eh!

A serious reputation and signs that read "Surviviors Will be Prosecuted" is also an asset in this area .

Dig some nice deep holes and trenches (and conceal spikes at the bottom)...cover with leaves and branches. How about a Fence around the perimeter topped with razor wire. Why not mine the entire area. OK-here is the ultimate---have the Air Force drop one of those 20000LB daisy cutters in there and clear out the whole damn area.....it will lose all appeal quicky and they will leave you alone.

question 1) what happened to my reply on here earlier about filling concrete blocks with cement mix to block the trails, and releasing killer goats on the property?

I like the bee hive idea, just take it one step futher, and put up warning signs saying WARNING African Bee Breeding grounds , Stings are deadly!!! and you would get free honey to boot.

And on #5 this is good too , just make a map of where you have dumped the nails.

What is leatherleaf mahonia, what does it do to you?

I think it would be a safer idea(for you and them)to try to keep them out, instead of getting them once they they're in. If anyone gets hurt on your property they can sue, wether they are tresspassing or not.

Some people broke into one of my friends barn, fell through some boards, and broke a leg. I can't remember exactly what they sued him for, but it was something along the lines of having an unmarked faulty structure on his property. They won.

So whatever you decide to do, be careful.

i think a fence would work for a while or until someone cut it, or the flood came and took it out

yeah, so far i would have to guess a T-stake fence of some sorts would be a good start. perhaps put it in a legite area. space the posts closely, maybe a foot or 2, then just string up the good ol 3 strand barb whire or regular wire. and if they decide to cut it, then you get get them on tresspassing AND destruction of private property. but yeah, the fence seems like the best best, at least its a decent start.

Here's an idea.

Install some pot plants. Then call the cops. Tell the cops you got some intruders on your property, and while you were out investigating, you found some pot plants. That way, cops put up yellow tape, and have an officer hanging around, waiting for someone to show up. They will then be quickly ushered into a police car, and off your property. Children will be told by the cops that "it isn't safe around here." Teenagers will be questioned, making it more of a hassle for them than the cops. Adults will probably be taken in.

Now, I'm not saying do it, but it's an idea.
