just bought a "fixer-upper" 99 E 250 w/120k on the clock. Has had a transmission replaced from that out of a 00 Crown Vic/Grand Merc. Engine knocks (hard - like a rod) and have checked the TC nuts but all are tight. Anyone have experence with chasin this one before I pull the pan or go back in the tranny to look at the flex plate? Anyone in CO (prefer front range) know of a pair of side doors (with or without glass) available anywhere (individual or salvage yard)?
