I have a 2004 f150 supercab. Ever since i purchased it there is a clicking sound. It almost sounds like the AC is turning off and on. Anyone else hear this sound??? There is also another sound when i first start the truck almost every morning. It sounds like something is stuck close and then is forced open, sorta like a air damper being forced open.
anyone else hear these??

That clicking should be the AC compressor. What position is your vent control on?

 

it usally is on one sometimes higher not real sure...the clicking happens when the AC is off also!!

 

Sorry...I didn't mean the speed.

The AC runs in various positions even if the AC selector isn't lit. Defroster being one of them.
