Ford TSB 126379 Date 2004-11-01
Does anyone have the full text to the above TSB? The summary is:
HESITATION ON ACCELERATION AND/OR ERRATIC IDLE WHEN COMING TO A STOP
I had a local Ford Dealer look at my 2004 F150 SC XLT 5.4 with a similar complaint (rough idle with rpm wandering erratically about 50-75 rpm). They said they found 2 bad spark plugs but no TSB or ECM reflash available. The problem improved slightly but the idle is still not smooth & it still wanders some. When I slowly accelerate the engine in park there are engine vibration harmonics that become evident at certain higher rpm's. I want to see if they actually bothered to research the problem with regard to this TSB.
