'86 F150 + '91 Stang 302 HO + boost = ?

My dad is building up his '85 F150. He's dropping in a 302 from a '91 Mustang convertible (along with the 4-spd auto) and now he's talking about supercharging it on top of that. I originally convinced him to get the 302 for fuel economy, and I'd kinda like to keep him close to that path.
Having said that, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a supercharger kit (for the Mustang, I guess, though I think you'd need truck mounting brackets) that uses an electromagnetic clutch? I know there are a few kits out there for 4-bangers and Mercedes uses one on some of its newer high-performance sedans. Also, assuming he keeps boost levels reasonable (say 6-8 psi) and does the standard Intake-Headers-Exhaust mods, any idea what kind of power/torque levels he can expect? I figured probably around 350 hp and 400 lb-ft at the crank. Thanks in advance.

I seriously doubt you're going to find an electromagnetic clutch setup. With a regular old roots sc(if you go that route), you'll have a bypass valve so it won't be working or really hurt fuel economy if you keep your foot out of it(my Grand Prix has a M90 roots supercharger with a bypass valve, on the highway I get 32-34mpg driving normal and I've got a few modifications done to it, when you get on it...fuel mileage starts to suffer as can be expected). The centrifugal supercharger kits(like most available for EFI mustangs..assuming you're keeping the EFI here) incorporate some type of bypass valve also. The only electromagnetic clutch setup sc's I can think of at the moment are on late model Mercedes Benz(many people consider them "more complicated" being that vacuum controlled bypass valves serve the purpose well).
