I am just curious as to how common or uncommon my truck is. It's a 1997 F-150 Lariat 5.4 2wd Automatic. I see many 4.6 2wd but I don't come accross many 5.4 2wd. Anyone have production numbers on this?

Common enough. I have one and it didn't take much of an effort to find it.

A completely unscientific observation: AutoZone's website lists various percentages of registered vehicles by engine. It shows 13% for the 5.4 No idea if this correlates to Ford's production numbers.

Depends on the region you live in. Almost impossible to find one here in MN (I looked before I bought my Supercrew 4x4)
