Trailer Hitch

Just got a new F-150 STX. Anyone have any suggestions where to get a new bolt-on Class III trailer hitch. The dealer quotes $175. Is this a good deal or should I shop elsewhere. Thx.

Try hitchesonline.com or etrailer.com

I've used both and have had no problems. Hitchesonline has most Class III/IV hitches in the 119.00-149.00 range. Just about everything is no drill and basiclly a no-brainer to install.

You can also try U-haul, it is one of the few things they do well.

Thanks. That was quite helpful; especially the illustrations at the web sites. However, the shipping seemed to negate the savings. I was hopeful that someone might point to a specific model hitch at somewhere like Tractor Supply or even Wal-Mart but most of these seem to fit multiple makes and models.
