Ok, here's my story with the flu / sickness.

Relative got it at a doctors office. Brought it home. One week later, last weekend, I was down at my brothers house for the weekend. I had a few beers that night. Then I got this tremendous headache. I chalked it up to the beer and went to sleep.

Next morning, I had this cold sweat headache wanting to puke kind of feeling. You know the one, you think you're going to die and are afraid you aren't. Anyway, I pack up my stuff and drive the 2 hours back home. It sucked.

After sleeping most of the day, I felt somewhat better. My joints hurt, bad. My muscles hurt. Still felt like I was going to puke.

The next few days, including this one, I just have the joint / muscle aches. It seems to be fading away though.

And I had a flu shot late last fall.

The moral of the story: Stay away from doctors offices!
