If you have the problem documented before any un-stock modifications then of course Ford must fix it. Why would you take that chance though? The owners manual clearly states that tire or suspension modifications void the warranty. Obviously, it's up to the Service personnel to make that call.
Funny that one of the reasons Ford decided to buy my truck back was because I was going to sue them for breach of contract due to the fact that they wouldn't stand by their own warranty and fix my truck, because they couldn't. I don't need to read anything about warranty law, that's what the lawyer is for. I did, however, read my owners manual which was revised in January of 04 to exclude any vibration problems. Interesting, hmmmm.

My regular cab 4x4 came with the 17 inch rims and the 255 generals. I keep getting stuck and according to the tire rack general is the only tire that fits my truck in the weight range. Has anyone else replaced there 17" tires with something more aggressive, I always had bfg ats on my other trucks but they don't make a 17 in the f150's wheight range. thanks

These are goodyear mtr 305.70/17 with a 2.5" level kit. They also make the tire in a 285/70/17.
