Well I had a Ford field rep drive my truck yesterday 01-12-05. He said he could feel a little bit of a vibration and it felt different from his 05. Now hes going to put some BFG's to replace the contianal genral tires that are on my truck now. Of course the steering wheel didnt act up while he was driving. After the drive and him telling me about the new tires. I asked him how new tires could fix a steering wheel shudder and vibration that have also happened while I have been sitting still at a stop light. He asked if it was a dead stop I said yes I was stopped waiting for the light to change. He then tells me to try the new tires anyway because he knows of a lot of trucks that have been fixed with the new tires. Does this make sense to anyone ?
I tell you the truck vibrates while at a stop light and you want to put new tires on it to fix the problem. Anyway I haft to wait for the new tires to be shipped and roadforced balanced or whatever. Cant wait to burn the rubber off my third set of tires with only 2000 miles on the truck.
When I got home from the dealer I had a letter from DSB stating they had got my letter (mailed 01-03-2005) and I should hear back from them within 40 days.
So 39 and counting here signing off.

Sounds like the DSB accepted your case so get everything in order for your hearing. The process is painless and with luck it will solve the problem you are having.
Do a search- many have gone DSB and it seems as though most have had good luck.(myself included)
Bad news is that if you just got an acceptance you are somewhere between 2 and 4 months until the outcome.
40 days till the hearing.
10 days for the judgement.
15-60 days for Ford to implement it.
Document, document, document and document.
