Sliding window rattle gone

I know ther have been a lot of us with the rear slider rattle.Someone posted a tsb on it.I took that print out to the dealer (Bankston Ford) in Frisco Tx.
After telling them of my problem and asking them if they wanted to see the tsb print out they said no ,that there was a update on the rear window rattle which was a new seal and a foam piece that went in there somehow.I did not understand how it worked but the rattle is gone and my screw Lariet is so nice and quite now as it was when I first got it.

Just wanted to let you all know it can be fixed if you have a rattle now or get it later on. Mine did not have a rattle until I got about 18000 miles on it.

Thanks for all the great information you all come up with.

I took mine in too, with the TSB. The ordered the parts and will install next Tues. I will update you all when I get it back. Sure is nice to be able to research issues like this and provide the dealer with as much info as possible.

I told the parts dept. at my dealer ship to order the part 4L3Z-15422A36AB and told them the TSB 04-20-3. They did this but when I took it in to get replaced they said that they couldn't hear the rattle and wanted me to pay for the part and the shipping to get it there. I walked back into the shop and moved the window up and down about 3/8" infront of the mechanic. I said "that is not supposed to do that!" He looked at me wide eyed and said "yeah, I guess we should fix that" So now no rattle and I am happy.

i had my window seal replaced for the rattle about 1month ago, and now it is back and even louder then before. i'm thinking they didn't change it. i think they might have just sprayed some silicone spray around the seal. just my opion. i will take it back again, it does sound like a different rattle then before but it is in the window some where, maybe the slider track this time. i don't want it to start leaking like some people have had happen
