I have a 2000 eddie bauer that the latch on the hood is stuck. Does anyone know how to remove the grill so I can get to the latch area or have a better idea. with out being able to open the hood

 

I don't believe it's possible to remove the grill without having the hood open. There are screws and machine screws that go through the radiator support and radiator cover into the grill, from the top and back-side, that prevent you from doing so. However, if you pull the rubber flap off from the bottom of the radiator (goes between the bumper and radiator), you may be able to reach up from the bottom of the truck, under the bumper, and reach the release.
