What the amazing part is it so hard to find parts for a 1960 F-100.. I have never done a truck that parts where so hard to find.. And all the parts books I find (IE NPD, LMC so on, so forth) Dont list much for this truck.. Its so sad to see such a good truck be so sadly unsupported...

Man, that is lame!!!

...if it makes you feel any better(thought I doubt someone else's misery is of any comfort) I had one of my running boards stolen off my truck a few years back...soooooooo lame... I am just now getting around to sourcing a 'single' passenger-side running board for a '50 F. I don't want to have to buy a pair.

Sorry,

S.G.

I feel bad... sorry. I see these trucks often out here. Anyhow try this guy in Denver. Ask for Doug Sauer and tell him that it is important to you so that he will go out side and look for one. 303-429-6603 10:00 - 2:00 pm mountain time as it is a hobby but he has a bunch of Ford P/U's and parts in a big yard. Good luck and the thief will pay 10 x for the part. It's karma man ........

I may have located a NOS one for you. Call Antique autoSupply in Arlington, Texas at 1-817-275-2381 and ask if they still have part number COTB 16607-A. It's listed for 60 F-100 thru 600 "FORD" and lightning bolt emblem, 6-3/8 inches. It comes up on thier inventory, but it's over 30 days old. Give them a try.

Thank Goodness I don't share the pain of anything being stolen off my truck. Then again, it's so junky that it's safe! If someone would threaten to smash a window - no prob! They're all split in two! Have at it!

Mad - keep an eye out locally, if they try to resell it you might get lucky and locate it.
Of course, ebay would be another place to watch. Makes me want to scribe the back of mine for identification later.....
