Yes it is liveable. I sure enjoy just putting around in it and it looks great. I live in east central, right along the MT/ID border. Salmon River Country....and yourself?

If its making that much power your best bet is the gear change. That motor is wanting to rev and once it comes down below its powerband its a dog. Those 351c 4v heads have about the same size ports as a 460. That's alot of air. And if its been worked and cammed... oh my. Too bad ya didn't have an auto trans and just put in a good stall converter.

A carb change may help velocity. What size and type are ya running? I have a 514 and run a 750 on it to help street manners. Good luck with it.

heck the early 4V heads had bigger valves than most 460s (2.19 vs 2.08)
