headers

a definite maybe. headers intended for 351c 2v heads will bolt up, but may or may not fit the rest of your truck.
long-tube headers of smaller diameter are generally better for low end torque, while fatter shorties are prefered for higher rpms.

I don't know if they are considered "shorties" or not, but I bought some from Jegs last week made by Dynomax that were only $105. They don't have very long collector ends at all, I have seen much longer on Cleveland motors, but I have also seen shorter on 5.0 engines. I am sorry that I don't know about the shorty part, but if you want the part#, you can call Jegs and ask them. Also, these are for a 2WD pickup.
