What's the dif. between these to MAC intakes?

Alright guys, I'm plannin on buying my MAC intake tonite or tomorrow depending on when I can get an answer about this. On the motorhaven site there are two mac intakes for the 4.2.

Could someone tell me the difference between these two?

2-- http://motorhaven.com/customer/produ...cat=161&page=1

thanks guys

Nothing. They have the same SKU number - same product just two different listings.
Don't know why. Probably just an oversight.

Just the wrong pic with one of them.
You can call Motorhaven and ask them about it. Either way, there is only one SKU number. So you should get the correct one regardless of the pic.

The first one you have listed that shows the intake assembled is the one that will fit your truck. The other picture is for a different vehicle and is an error on the site. But is the same SKU numbers so the picuture doesn't really matter.

Don't forget to order the grommet seal install kit, otherwise you can't install it. It's listed seperately. I think it's 11.95 or something. I don't know why they just don't sell it with the stupid kit.

Heh, I'm posting my reply to this and I see this thing that says "Supercharge Any Car $69.95." I didn't even look at it...what a gimmick.

And Tom's right, the first one is the correct one, the second goes to like...a ranger or something.

Ah man, I thought you were serious. Either that or an idiot that got ripped off for buying an additional kit!!!

At first, i thought maybe it was seal, like sea lion sea otter type thing. I remembered you were a pirate, and that seals were your friends.

ha yeah that supercharge any car thing Joe, I fell for that and clicked on it. It's one of those vortex tornado insert things. Those companies are involved in massive class action suits right now and I can't believe that this site would even post their advertisement. Ford-Trucks should not stoop that low as to advertise gimmicks that will rip off their member. That ticks me off.

Manster, ah, so you only "halfway" fell for it. At least you knew there was a joke in there somewhere

I had everyone else going pretty good though..hee hee.

Tom
