not watertight

believe it or not it "rained" in phoenix today. but i noticed my back window leaking now, not in the power sliding part so much but the windows on the side that don't move. yet another thing i'm sure the dealer will say they can't duplicate. so watch your window seals, mine leaked at the top and bottom mostly near the outside corners behind the headrests.

This has happened to a couple of people now, someone noted that they let it go unpassed and there rear headrests got water-stained.

I had a leak in the front passenger side window on my truck. Took it into the dealer and they said they put it in the "rain room" for a half hour and it didnt leak. It hasnt leaked since I got it back.

My leak coming from the back window was the 3rd brake light. My local dealer has fixed several 04 f-150s with the same problem. Since they worked on it, it's been fine....

The Dealer needs to do an ultra-sonic test on the Truck (no water is involved). The transmitter is placed in the truck near the leak, the tech. goes over the outside with the receiver (an electronic listening device with headphones). We use these in the HVAC business, to go over units for leak detection, we just don't have to use the transmitter.
