I've noticed that also. The front ends look like they tried to copy the Dodge Ram, IMO.

I vote for the 92-96 F series body style.

86' F350 dually4dr. Nice square front profile , it just looks like a truck should ! Add a mild lift and bigger tires/wheels ( 22.5 conversion ? ) , chrome stacks . and maybe add a turbo to that 6.9 and up date to a 6 speed . No electronics to screw up ,( ie CPS ) . But then I like my 96' too !

My '88 was the ugliest truck I've ever owned. You couldn't get around those huge bug-eye headlights. It was also the least reliable truck I've ever owned.

1. 92-96 (maybe bias 'cause thats what i got)
2. 78-79
3. 80-86
4. 48 F-1
5 Well, i guess i hafta say it, my neighbor has a 1979 dodge warlock II with a 440 in it and it is sweet. it is the fastest truck i've ever driven. (faster than any lightning) REMEMBER GUYS, i still would take a ford over a dodge

i don't like the 87-91 that much, they get cataracs on the headlights from the side and back they are ok but the front...

BTW: i get my license in 34 hours, look at my pimpin ride in my gallery and all the stuff i did to it while it sat in the driveway waiting for me for a year and a half

i think the 96 F-350's are the best looking. nice clean lines, nice interior. the 350's sit at the perfect height for 33's to fill out the wheel wells. the front end still looks like a real truck not a glorified SUV. not to mention all the heavy duty goodies underneath. 73-77 are a close second in my book.

A nice 2-tone 92-96 bumped a couple inches with proper wheels for the truck...can't beat it. 92-96 gets my vote, followed closely by the 73-79 (both grille's).

Dodge has never been beautiful to me...and I don't mind the last generation (before the "new" style) of Chevy truck front ends. Didn't look too bad

Not meaning to be rude, but there were three(3) grilles in the time frame you listed....73-75, 76-77, 78-79.

I like the 93-96 body style of the F/150 the best, however, the new f-150 look sweet also.
