Spray on bed liners

Has anyone had a brand x bed liner sprayed on your bed? I got quoted $260 for spray in bed liner at a local truck accessory place. They have lifetime warranty on the product. My boss just got it on his truck, it feels plasticy but it looks good. Anyone had any experience with this type of sray on bed liner? Thanks

Spray on liners

Yes, I've got a Line-X spray on liner. I paid something like $425 for it and it's the best bed liner I've ever had.

I can't imagine ever going back to insert liners.

Line X Looks the best and does a great job, removing every bolt, etc

Line X Looks the best and does a great job, removing every bolt, etc.

They can also color match your paint for about double the price.

Lifetime Warranty.

About 425 on a 04 SCrew Shortbed.

I was talking about other brands besides Line-X and Rhino. I want to get Line X, which from reading posts here, is usually about $100 - $150 more than THEIR BRAND (STAR) spray on bed liner i got quoted from a local truck accessory shop. This has lifetime warranty too. The texture is ok, it looks more like a drop in... and line x, well, that one looks more detailed. Not sure what way to go... won't use the bed THAT MUCH. Hum... I really wanted to get this done today but couldn't decide where to go.

Bed liners self spray in`s

Yes there is some DIY kit`s they run about 129.00 USD for Black ,I just wonder if it warrants it self cause to do a full size truck you need 2 gallons =$260.00 USD ,I`am really debating to do it ,cause I hate paying people for jobs I can do

This stuff here is 60 bucks a gal in any color. Nice colors too.. I watched a buddy do the inside of a boat. No sweat.. The biggest thing is the bed sanding and I know I'll do better job sanding than some 7 buck an hr meathead at a spray on joint. What's nice about it once you know how to do it is you can touch it up or recoat it anytime to want if it get's chewed up..

Lip area between bumper and tailgate for lighting

Hello.

Does anyone know if when you get Line-X do they spray the lip area between the tailgate and the bumper where some people are installing the Line of Fire LED Lights under the tailgate?

Thanks,

Dave

You can spray the bedliner yourself. However, keep in mind the ones that I have seen have inconsisent color hue, and it looked like the thickness varied. I hate to say it, but it is better to have it done by the "pros from Dover"....
