Exclamation fuel injectors, leak?.....

ok here's the deal, i dirve a '97 ranger, standard, 2.3L. when i push the gas, and mostly in the gears above 1st, it seems to miss a bit or the engine revs, but no acceleration, but after a second or two, it finally kicks in. also i am leaking a fluid from the front end passenger side that has no smell, feels like water and oil mixed and is clear in color. it has been a little bit since the oil has been changed and the oil filter as well. i don't know much about cars at all, so any help would be appreciated.

For the acceleration issue, when was it last tuned up?

You might be seeing the water from the climate control drain, turn the system to off for a trip and see if it stops. The AC compressor runs in most of the settings.
