Whos in the oil patch here?

Im an operator for an oil company in northern Alberta. What's your trade in the patch?

Ive been working around the patch, not yet specifiicaly on a rig.
I worked for Kana oiolfield services last winter

Yea we get Badger out at work for exposing lines and piping every once in awhile.

I drill for Precision Drilling. I just saw a guy on ROBTV talking about Compton, he said they were a company to watch.

I drilled and pushed tools for Regent Drilling for 20 yrs, been farming for since they sold out. I think Ensign Drilling got most of there iron. Should go back but getting to old and lazy.

Yeah, Ensign bought Regent. You would feel right at home, the rigs are still yellow. A buddy of mine worked derrick on Ensign 17, used to be Regent 23 I believe.

While I don't specifially work in the patch, my job basically revolves around it. I'm a journeyman machinist and 85% of the work we do is oil patch related, does that count?
