56 exhaust - at a loss?

I've now tried two separate styles of headers. The sanderson block huggers, by the way ceramic coated. The driver's side fits snug but fits. The passenger side hits the engine mount at the collector. Tried grinding the engine mount away etc. NO way. Got a set of 89 Mustang shorties from a friend. The passenger side fits no problem. The driver side hits my steering box by about a 1/4 inch. Not sure what to do or go with now????? My engine is complete, but I really need some headers to make it sound and run the way I want it. I saw a set of tri Y headers that look like they may work. Any help or suggestions would be nice. By the way, did I tell you guys I'm having a garage sale on headers? LOL.....

Engine? 302?
Front Suspension?

Might help someone come up with a suggestion.
