Truck Cover

Has anyone out there bought a truck cover? I priced one through my local Ford dealer $289. Supposed to be heavy duty. They told me it was the same one on the Ford Accessories web site, but that one is $315. There will be times my truck will sit for a few weeks at a time and would like to cover it to help keep the dust off. Thoughts anyone??

I had a lightweight cover for an older vehicle-I found that the wind always whips the cover, sometimes really bad. This in turn will cause the cover to "work" on your paint, where the cover comes in contact. Not the best protection at all against the weather and can cause some damage to your paint.

Yeah I park mine in my garage. It covers it....LOL

On a more serious note, I agree on the wind issue and working on the cover. I wouldn't do it. No in a garage and cover it to keep dust, kids, cats, etc. off it, It would work great.
