The kit actually raises the front about 3.6” and the back about 1.5”. I have the fx4 package so the ride was only slightly stiffer, so little the wife didn’t even notice. I've had this kit installed for about 800 miles so far and the truck really handles the same.

I had a off road shop do the install for me. I had added the additional rear shocks and the total cost for the kit and install was about 1150. The base kit is about 550, (Part #SKYF4301K). If you have the right tools I don't believe this would be a hard install. You'll need the front end realigned after you put about 300 to 400 miles on it. The front half shafts do not seem to be bothered with the greater degree of angle. If it wasn't for sitting taller you would never notice any difference in how your truck rides.

If I had it to do over again I would do the same. My next two upgrade will be BFG All Terrain TA in 285/65/18 on stock fx4 rims and then some e-lockers for my front and rear end. I just need to wait til they start making them for the 9.75 axel.

Where are some places that sell the 3" Kit. Lowest anyone has seen.

Seems like something cool to do to the truck for a small price.

I have the Daystar 2.5 and Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift currently on my truck.

Would this Skyjacker 3" Suspension lift give me any more height?

From what I have read and heard on here. the Skyjacker levels the out. it raises the front alot more than the back, so if you added the Skyjacker to the daystar, it would make the front REAL high. Maybe even too high for the steering knuckles. but yeah, remove the daystar and add Skyjacker.... SHOULD raise it up a bit. Plus the body lift. Should be a awesome height. Not too high, but high enough.

I have the 3" skyjacker on my F-150 scab Lariat. At first I ran the rear add-a-leaf hoping it would pack out. In the end I ended up pulling it off for a leveled look. In the rear am running Rancho 9000's. My only problem with the lift is that I get alot of shaking when on asphalt roadways from the inconsistancy in the road. The ride of the truck reminds me of a truck with the torsion bars too tight. Overall I am not to impressed with the lift and I wished I would have gone with the Rancho 4".

yea thats what i thought but he told me i had to have new rims with at least 4.5 inches of back spacing so any idea on if those size tires on that size rim with that size lift would rub or not really need to know

Motordude- I am not sure what you are describing. The truck shakes? The wheel shakes? What is shaking? I dont have a shaking problem in mine at all with the Skyjacker kit. I really cant notice much of a difference in the ride from stock. I wonder if you have a different problem.

any help or explinations of the degree of difficulty would help greatly

With the 3" you can use stock wheels they may be confused with the Skyjacker 6" You can not use stock wheels cause they won't clear the new steering knucles

Well I thought my lift would be showing up today cause when I ordered it the salesman told me it would be 5 to 7 days and its been 7. So I called them up today and ask about it and now I am told there is a 2 week backorder. The guy I talked to today said I sould have been told about it when I placed the order. this was through 4 Wheel Parts
